Helping the mod!

Very Happy Hey there! Just discovered this exciting looking mod, would like to offer my services, however frankly I'm only just getting into this modding malarky.

I just started mapping a few weeks ago, I'm hardly a pro but let me know what you think, I've spent a lot of time getting to grips with all that hammer has to offer. Unfortunately I only discovered the displacement tool adding these too maps, but i have started making a cave map, so its been put to good use there I assure you!

Just noticed that the fire needs lowering in the buckets whoops!

I could also offer my services as a music score writer, I'm a fairly accomplished composer, as far as A2 students studying music and music tech go.

However, I must emphasize that I would only be able to write the music and put it onto score, I have no way of recording them without spending lots of denari! lol

If all this fails, I'd happily be a beta - tester as well, I tested for the mod Age of Chivalry, I believe I was testing the version that was released for steamworks too Smile

Any feedback appreciated Smile

Regards, Blackbird.

Looks not too bad there. Can you try making a small, outdoor, maybe jungle test map to show us? Most if not all of our main maps will be outdoors. I would like to see what you can do with that. We are in no rush, so you can take your time to learn what you need to.

I would really like to see an example of a music score too (yes, I can read music lol).

Thats sweet! awesome I'll get right too it, try and finish it in the last 4 days of my holiday.

Just trying to see what I could send you score wise, I'm a bit of a open minded genre, atm I could send you either, a Funk/Fusion piece, a film score set in baroque times, a pink floyd type "popular song" or a minimalist piece of pizzicatto violins lol.

Would be really cool if you could set me an assignment on that aswell though Smile

Go with the pink floydish one =D, I'm a HUGE floyd fan lol.

Ok, for an assignment.. try for something for a .. hunting scene.. for a pack of raptors hunting a herbivore, I'll leave it up to you to determine the exact genre but it should be something with some tension. lol

I'll get onto the score as well then Smile

I've also thought of a way, kinda to do the long grass which i was reading about on the forum somewhere, it looks a little bit mehhish though Neutral I'll put it into my "jungle" map Smile
